A Forklift Warehouse Operator manage inventory by safely operating machinery forklifts to
load/unload trucks, move materials, and organize stock. Key duties include conducting
equipment checks, following safety protocols, using RF scanners for tracking, and ensuring
accurate inventory placement.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, stack, and move pallets and goods within the warehouse using sit down or stand up forklifts.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to company safety standards, including proper PPE usage and maintaining a clean work area.
- Inventory Control: Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movement, verify orders, and assist with stock counts.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections, check fluid levels,
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage materials for shipping and receiving.
Must Have
- Valid forklift certification or license.
- 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items, climb on/off equipment, and work in varied temperatures.
- Strong attention to detail for accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Fast-paced, high-volume environment (3PL, manufacturing, or distribution).
- Shift work, including mornings, evenings, or nights.
