Our client is a leading UAE-based specialist in architectural aluminium, glass, façade engineering and metal fabrication solutions with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility delivering landmark projects across the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Lead the crew daily and work alongside them on installation or assembly.
- Assign tasks to each worker and monitor their output and workmanship.
- Check alignment, level, plumb, and gaps before securing work.
- Ensure materials, tools, and consumables are ready for each shift.
- Flag drawing errors or site clashes to the Site Supervisor/Engineer immediately.
- Train and mentor junior workers and new hires on the job.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards in the immediate work area.
Must Have
- Diploma or technical certification in or a related trade or a Vocational/apprenticeship background as a glazier, façade installer, aluminium fabricator, or carpenter that is widely accepted.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in façade, glazing, cladding, or aluminium joinery installation.
- 2 years leading a small crew or acting as a lead hand on site or in the workshop.
- Strong knowledge of :
- Aluminium profile cutting, framing, hardware fitting, and gasket installation.
- Glass handling, setting, and sealing (structural silicone, gaskets, tapes).
- Reading shop drawings, elevation marks, and detail sheets.
