We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, Oracle MRP systems, and Oracle Fusion tools. This role involves creating and maintaining parts and documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting testing and validation activities to ensure efficient and accurate production workflows.
Candidates must have relevant work experience in the Metal Manufacturing & Fabrication, Pipe Coating, Heavy Engineering, or Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain part numbers, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and routings in Oracle MRP and Oracle Fusion systems.
- Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ensure accurate documentation updates.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance.
- Assist in the development of prototype equipment, including executing test plans for new and modified parts or assemblies.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to manufacturing documentation and records.
- Provide technical support for production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to support product lifecycle management (PLM).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality procedures.
- Train and support team members on Oracle MRP and Oracle Fusion tools.
Must Have
- Minimum 5–8 yearsof experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role using Oracle MRPand Oracle Fusion.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Manufacturing Process Knowledge
- Strong understanding of assembly, machining, testing, and production workflows. BOM Management
- Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and controlling Bills of Materials (BOMs)and product structures. Routings & Work Instruction
- Experience developing manufacturing routings, process flows, and production/work instructions. ERP / MRP Systems
- Proficient in Oracle MRP, Oracle Fusion, or similar ERP/MRP manufacturing systems. Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Experience managing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), configuration control, and updating product structures. Production Troubleshooting
- Experience resolving manufacturing issues, supporting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
