Our client is a leading UAE-based specialist in architectural aluminium, glass, façade engineering and metal fabrication solutions with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility delivering landmark projects across the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor façade, aluminium and glazing projects from engineering through fabrication, installation and final handover.
- Review project drawings, specifications and contract documents to ensure accurate project execution.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement, QA/QC and Site teams to achieve project milestones.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, material requirements and resource plans.
- Track project progress and ensure activities are completed within approved timelines and budgets.
- Attend client, consultant and internal coordination meetings to discuss project progress and technical matters.
- Monitor material deliveries, fabrication status and site installation activities to avoid project delays.
- Resolve technical and operational issues in coordination with internal departments and project stakeholders.
- Ensure all project activities comply with client specifications, company quality standards and HSE regulations.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals and technical documents before project execution.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly project progress reports for management and clients.
Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the Contracting, Aluminium, Glass or Façade industry, including experience as a Project Engineer within Gulf
- Experience on high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, airports, stadiums, or hospitality projects is often preferred.
- Site / field engineering experience is highly valued.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, project specifications and contract documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and project management software. Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
- MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar; ability to develop and track project timelines.
- BOQ (Bill of Quantities), material take-offs, variance analysis, and cost reporting.
- Understanding of FIDIC, NEC, or standard construction contracts; subcontractor and supplier management.
