Our client is a leading UAE-based specialist in architectural aluminium, glass, façade engineering and metal fabrication solutions with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility delivering landmark projects across the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Carry out site surveys to confirm existing structure conditions before installation.
- Set out centre lines, levels, and fixing points for curtain walls, windows, and cladding.
- Measure and record structural deviations that affect frame or glass sizing.
- Issue survey reports and mark-up drawings for the project engineer and supervisor.
- Hand over accurate control data and reference points to installation crews.
- Re-check alignment and levels during and after major installation milestones.
- Maintain survey equipment and calibration records.
Must Have
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Surveying, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in in construction surveying, preferably in façade, glazing, cladding, or architectural metalwork projects within Gulf.
- Total station, theodolite, auto level, laser level, and GPS/DGPS operation.
- Reading architectural, structural, and shop drawings for setting-out.
- Establishing control points, grid lines, and benchmark levels.
- Verifying concrete/steel structure dimensions against façade design.
- Checking anchor bolt positions, embed plates, and bracket locations.
- Building envelope geometry: verticality, flatness, and floor-to-floor height checks.
- Recording as-built measurements and deviation reports.
