A leading company in Dubai specialisinspecialising in the maintenance and operation of vehicles, heavy equipment, and construction machinery is looking to hire an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer. To be considered for this position, candidates must be fluent in the Tagalog language.
Responsibilities
- Inspect heavy equipment to identify electrical faults and potential failures.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to wiring systems, sensors, controllers, charging systems, and electronic components.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults.
- Interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals to support repair activities.
- Coordinate with operators and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Support workshop and field service operations as required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor within the scope of the role.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working directly on heavy equipment and construction machinery.
- Strong experience in the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Knowledge of wiring harnesses, sensors, controllers, alternators, starters, and electronic control systems.
- Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance independently.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Preferred Equipment Experience
- Candidates with experience working on the following equipment will be given priority: Bulldozer (Dozer), Excavator, Backhoe Loader, Wheel Loader, SkiLoader, Skid Steer Loader (Bobcat)Motor Grader, Scraper, Dump Truck, Forklift, Vacuum Truck,Other heavy equipment and construction machinery
Important Note
- This is a field-based, hands-on role and not an office, design, or purely supervisory position. The successful candidate must have practical experience carrying out electrical diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance activities personally and be comfortable working directly on heavy equipment.
