Our client is a leading UAE-based specialist in architectural aluminium, glass, façade engineering and metal fabrication solutions with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility delivering landmark projects across the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for aluminium, glass and construction materials.
- Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality, pricing and delivery terms.
- Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations and issue Purchase Orders in accordance with company procurement procedures.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Projects and Stores teams to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules and material quality to ensure project requirements are met.
- Track purchase orders and expedite deliveries to avoid project or production delays.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, vendor databases and purchasing documentation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations and quality standards.
Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience within the Construction, Contracting, Aluminium, Glass or Façade industry in the GCC.
- Strong knowledge of aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, façade accessories and construction materials.
- Experience in supplier sourcing, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation and procurement planning.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of import/export procedures and logistics coordination is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- UAE Driving License is preferred.
