Our client is a leading UAE-based specialist in architectural aluminium, glass, façade engineering and metal fabrication solutions with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility delivering landmark projects across the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, fabricated components and finished products to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications and quality standards.
- Perform quality checks throughout the fabrication, assembly and production processes for aluminium, glass and façade systems.
- Review engineering drawings, material specifications and quality requirements before production and installation activities.
- Identify quality issues, non-conformities and defects, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with Production and Engineering teams.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), quality records and related documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Project, Design and Site teams to ensure quality requirements are achieved at every stage of the project.
- Monitor fabrication and installation activities to ensure compliance with client specifications, company procedures and approved method statements.
- Verify that measuring instruments and inspection equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations and company quality procedures.
- Conduct final inspections before product dispatch or site installation to ensure all quality requirements are met.
Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the Construction, Contracting, Aluminium, Glass or Façade industry, including experience as a Quality Controller, QA/QC Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role within Gulf
- Strong knowledge of aluminium fabrication, curtain wall systems, glazing, façade installation and quality inspection procedures.
- Experience in reading engineering drawings, conducting inspections, preparing quality documentation and handling Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Good understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, quality control processes and HSE regulations.
