Sales Engineer – Finned Tubes & Heat Transfer Solutions
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer with technical expertise and commercial acumen to join our team in Dubai, focused on driving sales of finned tubes and heat transfer solutions to the Oil & Gas sector and related industrial clients. This role blends engineering knowledge with sales execution to deliver tailored solutions that improve heat exchange efficiency and reduce operational risk for customers in upstream, midstream, and downstream applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow a sales pipeline: Identify and engage potential customers within the Oil & Gas, petrochemical, power, and industrial segments, converting leads into qualified opportunities.
- Technical solution selling: Understand customer heat transfer requirements, present finned tube applications and benefits, and recommend optimal product solutions aligned with operational goals.
- Client engagement & relationship building: Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, engineers, EPC contractors, and procurement teams to drive long-term partnerships.
- Prepare proposals & quotations: Create compelling technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer specifications, including pricing, thermal performance data, and value insights.
- Negotiation & closing: Lead contract negotiation and closure, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company targets.
- After-sales support: Provide ongoing customer support, including coordination with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and performance satisfaction.
- Market & competitor insights: Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategy and product positioning.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.
- 2+ years of technical sales or sales engineering experience, preferably with heat transfer products, industrial equipment, or similar technical solutions
- A minimum of 5 years of sales / business development experience in the GCC.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate technical solutions to both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B industrial environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial understanding and ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
- Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office tools.
- Willingness to travel regionally for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
