We are looking for a highly skilled Structural Draftsman with strong expertise in Revit and AutoCAD to join our client's team in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in structural drafting, BIM coordination, and preparation of detailed construction drawings for industrial and infrastructure projects. Candidates must possess previous UAE construction experience and be capable of delivering high-quality structural documentation while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate Structural Shop Drawings in accordance with project specifications.
- Develop Reinforcement Detailing and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Produce Structural Steel Detailing drawings.
- Prepare As-Built Drawings upon project completion.
- Interpret IFC drawings and structural design details accurately.
- Develop and maintain detailed structural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP disciplines through BIM coordination.
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Revise drawings based on engineering comments and site modifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and site personnel to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Maintain organized documentation and drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Must Have
- Minimum 5 years of Structural Drafting experience.
- Previous UAE construction experience is mandatory.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit (Structural).
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong experience in BIM Coordination.
- Hands-on experience preparing:
- Structural Shop Drawings
- Reinforcement Detailing
- Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)
- Structural Steel Detailing
- As-Built Drawings
- Strong understanding of IFC drawings and structural detailing.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
- Own Vehicle (Mandatory).
