The Warehouse Officer is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining materials and tools to support Pipe Coating Services projects. This role ensures proper handling, accurate recordkeeping, and upkeep of the warehouse to meet operational needs and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials and goods, inspect for damage/quantity, verify documents, and record receipts. 
  • Ensure materials are stored safely and logically (FIFO/LIFO as required), maintain good housekeeping, and implement 5S practices. 
  • Prepare materials for issue to site/project teams, verify pick lists, and maintain issuance records. 
  • Conduct routine cycle counts, maintain accurate store records, and support physical stocktakes. Report and investigate discrepancies. 
  • Ensure all items are correctly labeled, tagged, and stored with clear identification for quick retrieval. 
  • Manage small tools, consumables, and equipment storerooms; track issuance and returns. 
  • Maintain accurate records including goods received notes, delivery notes, inventory 
  • Follow safe handling procedures, ensure proper use of PPE, and maintain warehouse security and restricted access. 
  • Suggest and support improvements for warehouse layout, storage methods, and operational efficiency.

Must Have

  • High school diploma or vocational certificate; diploma in Logistics/Materials Management is advantageous. 
  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in warehouse or store operations, preferably in industrial, construction, or oil & gas sectors. 
  • Experience as a Storekeeper in Saudi Arabia with strong expertise in inventory control, stock management, and warehouse operations. 
  • Proven experience operating forklifts both indoors and outdoors. 
  • Experience using WMS/ERP systems or manual inventory systems is preferred. 
  • Strong attention to detail and good record-keeping skills. 
  • Basic numeracy and ability to perform inventory calculations. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. 
  • Good communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and safely handle materials. 
  • Knowledge of storing hazardous materials is a plus. 
  • Good spoken and written English. Valid forklift license/certification (preferred) and a valid driver’s license (if site travel is required).

Nice to have

  • Experience in pipe coating or related industrial warehousing. 
  • Forklift or material handling equipment certification. 
  • Familiarity with 5S and basic inventory control methods.
